  • 4 16 oz. jars My Favorite New Mexico Foods Red Chile Sauce
  • 2 t. salt or more to taste
  • 1 t. granulated garlic
  • ½ t. dried whole Mediterranean oregano, crush before adding
  • 2 T. extra virgin olive oil
  • Grated cheese (equal parts jack and colby cheeses)

DescriptionDescription  My Favorite New Mexico Foods Traditional Carne Asado
InstructionsInstructions  Brown cubed sirloin in 2 T oil. Add 4 jars Red Chile Sauce and remaining ingredients. Simmer mixture over low to medium-low heat until meat is tender (45 minutes to 1 hour). You may add small amount of water (1/4-1/2 cup) to keep from becoming too thick.

Serve with grated cheese and warmed flour tortillas.

Yields: 10-12 cups
